The name of this stamp is Ruff Day, but this card was made for anything but! I sent this to a friend's son for his 3rd birthday. It's a versatile stamp that can be used for just about anyone who loves dogs (and who doesn't?!). I stamped this little guy on Oatmeal Cookie card stock with Dark Roast ink and cut him out BY HAND! I am so spoiled with all the dies that FSJ offers - I totally balk at fussy cutting now! Using the Journey Ovals I cut and pierced a piece of Oatmeal Cookie and Dark Roast card stock. I love how this set comes with both cutting and piercing dies. I even cut and pierced at the same time because the ovals nest, so you place the card stock and both dies through the Journey Grand at the same time and you're done!!! Super easy! The base of the card is Oatmeal Cookie layered with Dark Roast and Lemon Grass for a little color. I used some of our yummy satin ribbon in Oatmeal Cookie to embellish and added Journey Glaze on the pup's nose and eyes. Everything is popped up using Journey Foam Squares to add some dimension.
I have been stamping for 14 years and am thrilled to be one of the first Fun Stampers Journey Coaches in Ohio. It was my honor to serve on the 2016-2017 Leadership Team for Fun Stamper's Journey.
